Stumping and Eating at Di Fara's Pizza in Brooklyn

Customers lining up for pizza at Di Fara's
In an interview Democratic candidate for mayor of New York City Bill de Blasio made it clear, I'm from Brooklyn and the best pizza in New York City is 80 + year old Dom DeMarco’s at Di Fara in the Midwood section of Brooklyn. De Blasio He criticized outgoing three term Mayor Mike Bloomberg's policies for contributing to the loss of such small businesses as Di Fara in the big apple and the growth of fast food chains in their place. De Blasio calls for an end to the city’s use of “arbitrary fines” against mom-and-pop restaurants and creating “zoning laws and tax policy over time to support family owned businesses.” He points to recent examples on the upper west side “where changes in zoning made it harder for certain chain stores to develop and easier for mom and pop shops to survive, so that's a model I want to follow.”
