Breaking Bread Podcast Launched

Babson College Food Prof Fred Opie launches Breaking Bread, a podcast featuring educational and entertaining food and history content on food traditions in Africa and the Americas, food policy, and building on the theme of looking at food as a lens for understanding individuals, groups, and societies. The Feeding the Revolution series and others series starting on the blog continues with interviews. For example, Opie shares interviews he did with members of the People's Kitchen during the Occupy Wall Street protest of 2011.  There are also excerpts from lectures and keynote speeches on Opie's newest books on activist in New York and Chicago and a culinary biography of the noted Florida native and writer Zora Neale Hurston who was a contemporary of William Faulkner.
